Product of the Week

Maybe I’m a little late in jumping on the dry shampoo bandwagon, but I just picked up my first dry shampoo this past week and I’m obsessed. I have hair that is super straight and gets pretty flat and dirty by the end of the day. If I shower in the morning, I generally can’t go out that evening without a quick hair wash and dry unless I just want to put it back in a slick ponytail. I picked up Dove Dry Shampoo at CVS last week (I may have picked it over the others on the shelf because it was white and pink and prettier… black and lime green packaging just doesn’t do it for me and it seems that all dry shampoos are black!) I was apprehensive that I might be dealing with a product that would turn white in my hair, feel tacky, or just not work, but I was pleasantly surprised. Dove Dry Shampoo gave my hair texture and volume and though it may not have been freshly washed, it certainly looked completely acceptable for going out. I just gave it a quick shake upside down, worked the dry shampoo into my hair, brushed it out a bit, and sprayed to finish it. 100 times easier than washing and drying for the second time in a day. I only wish I had discovered this sooner!

  1. Girl you and me both. Dry shampoo is a life saver. I haven't tried the dove yet, but that's next on my list. I used to be loyal to the suave (smells AMAZING), but it doesn't absorb the oil very well. Tresemme plus keratin is awesome. I'd definitely recommend it.

  2. I use the dove one too and LOVE it!

  3. Ooh, I haven't tried the Dove one! I've tried the TresEmme and the Suave, and recently I got a more expensive brand, called Blow, which is a powder and not a spray. Love dry shampoos!!
