Finally Bought the Vest...

I’ve wanted to monogram a Lands’ End vest for years… literally dating back to the Lilly days when my coworker and I were thinking that it was so ridiculous to pay well over $100 for a puffy vest just because of the palm tree on the chest, so why don’t we just get an inexpensive puffy vest and monogram it? Just as cute but so much cheaper. Well, about 7 years later, I finally got around to buying one. I went the kids’ vest because with their 30% off and free shipping promo, it was only $30.50 (they run these types of promos ALL the time, just sign up for their emails). Just a warning, they run HUGE. I first bought a kids’ large and it extended several inches past my shoulders and was super long. Luckily, Lands’ End customer service is awesome and they let me switch it for a medium which fit perfectly (I wear an XS-S for context.) I also specially requested the light green monogram rather than the standard “Parchment” color. This down vest is such a cute, inexpensive treat - also perfect for Christmas presents!

Also, I'll have a JLW Holiday Shops recap this week! Stay tuned!

  1. I've been wanting to get one of these and was wondering how they fit and how the monogram looks so thank you so much for posting this!

  2. This is precious! I really love the forest green color too.

  3. I think you have offically convinced me to try the boys' section of clothing...I am petite (XS/S) as well! Love this vest & the monogram!! :)
