My Go To Makeup with It Cosmetics

Over the past couple years, It Cosmetics has become one of my go to cosmetics brands for every day makeup. I had never heard of the brand before attending a blog conference a few years ago, but after meeting their adorable reps and learning all about their latest products, I gave their makeup a go.

To be honest, I'm always a little wary of a new makeup brand. I have my go to products from NARSDiorBenefit and Urban Decay that I reach for again and again. But, It Cosmetics won me over.

THE CLASSICS

At first I started bringing their Je Ne Sais Quoi tinted lip balm with me as my every day lip color. Then I tried out the Superhero eyeliner and mascara (these things do NOT budge!), their perfectly translucent SPF powder, and their lightweight under eye concealer. All of these were definite winners that made getting ready in the morning quick and easy. I was hooked on It Cosmetics, but then they totally blew me away this summer with some of their newest products.

MY NEW FAVORITES

I am OBSESSED with the Bye Bye Breakout concealer. While I'm at a point in my life and skincare routine where luckily breakouts are far and few between, I do get the occasional blemish, and the salicylic acid in this treatment concealer always does the trick. I can conceal the spot AND know that it will probably be gone by the end of the day.

The Bye Bye Pores Blush in Sweet Cheeks reminds me a lot of the cult classic NARS Orgasm blush for its staying power, pigment, and flattering gold shimmer, but it's a bit more pink and little less peach. Lastly, the Brow Powder...I can't say enough about this flattering universal shade. Paired with their brow brush and pomade, this is the most natural looking, yet still strong, brow product I've found. And, trust me, this bold browed girl has tried many a brow product.

WHAT SHOULD I GET?

I consider myself porcelain skinned, and I opt for the "fair" shade of all the It Cosmetics skin products, but hey have a whole range of colors from fair to deep. The brow powder comes in a universal taupe which really seems like it would work for most people — I have dark brows and I was worried it would be too light, but it's just the right color.

With these products, you'll have a go to daily makeup arsenal that will take you through a pretty eyes, lips, cheeks, and skin routine.
