I made this bracelet a couple weeks ago when I went a little overboard on freshwater pearls during a bead sale at Michael’s (Surpringly, the DC area is severely lacking in a good bead store! Luckily, the craft store Michael’s has a wide array of natural stones and freshwater pearls and has MAJOR sales on a regular basis… this tides me over between trips to a real bead store.) These pearls are rough and organic and so much more interesting than your typical pearl bracelet. I’ll have to add a close up later. The hammered gold toggle closure is bold and matches all of my gold spring and summer accessories. It’s the quintessential everyday piece.
