Summer Smoothie

I’m trying to be healthier this summer and eat more natural, good for me foods. Smoothies are the perfect breakfast treat, sweet and filling. I made a banana blueberry smoothie this morning and it’s a winner. This also seemed to make the perfect amount (I hate ending up with extra smoothie, it’s such a waste since smoothies do NOT keep well in the fridge!)

2 handfuls ice cubes
1 banana
3/4 cup frozen blueberries (fresh would certainly work, but frozen is so much more economical)
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt

The banana taste is just enough, but the blueberries are definitely the standout.

    that sounds delicious! i love smoothies, and they are usually kind of expensive at a smoothie shop- definitely going to try this one as soon as i can get some blueberries!
