Tilapia with Spicy Remoulade Sauce

Okay, I know, I still haven’t upgraded my food photography, but I promise you this recipe was worth blogging about even with my Instagam photo. This is my go to recipe when I literally have 20 minutes to both make and eat dinner, which is pretty standard for me these days.

Tilapia with Spicy Remoulade Sauce

Tilapia fillet (I always just buy a smallish one. It’s a pretty inexpensive fish so it’s great for getting some nutrients on a budget!)
Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder
Olive Oil

Mayonnaise (I used  Duke’s, of course!)
Sriracha Sauce
Minced Garlic
Lemon Juice

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the fillet with salt, pepper, garlic powder as desired. Coat the fish in flour before tossing in the skillet. Cook the fish until lightly browned on each side.

For the spicy remoulade sauce, mix together the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, relish, minced garlic, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice to taste.

Ideally, I would serve this with a side salad of spring greens and a light vinaigrette but of course I didn’t have time for that the evening I took this picture!

YUM!!! Tilapia is one of my go-to's also. I normally broil it with some lemon, garlic powder, salt and pepper. It's perfect for fish tacos like that— with minimal work.
