Side Table Decisions

When I moved to DC several years ago, I bought a huge desk that fit perfectly in a corner of my room and was a great way to utilize space that would have otherwise been empty. Unfortunately, this desk doesn’t fit anywhere in my apartment and is going the way of craigslist (anyone in DC need a big white corner desk?)

Once this desk kicks the bucket and is out of my living room, I’m hoping to create a little sitting area that will make the large living room seem a little cozier. Two slipper chairs and a small side table seems like the solution. Something slightly contemporary will be the perfect accent to the taupe and ivory zebra print slipper chairs I’m eyeing and I think any of the tables below would fit the bill. At the moment I’m leaning towards the Mirror Pyramid table just for the glamour factor, though I also love the mid-century vibe of the Wood Tray table. Regardless of which one I end up choosing, these are all budget friendly options with a high end look.
