Patriotic Style

No matter what your Fourth of July plans have in store for you, there’s a way to wear red, white, and blue without looking over the top or kitschy. No American flag bandanas here (though those certainly have their time and place), here are three patriotic looks for your holiday weekend.

For a city cookout, you want to look relaxed but still stylish. A scalloped, navy eyelet top, white shorts, a pop of red in the form of the ever chic silk scarf, an adorable navy clutch, and gold jewelry to tie it all together. Sophisticated, pulled together, but easy.

For a weekend by the beach or at the river, casual is the name of the game. A classic L.L. Bean Boat and Tote, monogrammed, obviously, lived in jean shorts, and an iconic red and white striped shirt are the ultimate in All American summer style.

Red can be a tough color to wear so this outfit is for those who would rather go the navy and white route. A gorgeous, and comfortable, graphic navy and white maxi dress, beachy straw clutch, and some fun gold earrings are totally patriotic when paired with bright red nails and a red lip
