Back in Black

The changing of seasons is the best if you’re the kind of person who loves fresh starts (insert The Great Gatsby quote) and the allure of possibilities and new beginnings.

But, on the flip side, those wonderful transitional seasons also wreak havoc on routine and consequently, skin. That’s where I was a couple weeks ago when I realized I desperately needed to switch things up. I decided to check out a few products from boscia. I had tried their samples from Sephora and was intrigued by the black face wash and mask.  So edgy yet so cleansing!?

The face wash warms on your skin which, for those of us that want to feel our facial products, is a sure sign that it’s working. It lives up to its name of detoxifying, yet it isn’t harsh or drying. I use it in the morning and in the evening, and I have sensitive skin, so even though it removes makeup and deep cleans, you know it must be mild enough for daily use.

I love using the black peel off face mask before an evening out or anytime I need to perk up my skin a bit. While it takes a solid half hour to dry (I always do mine while also doing Whitestrips – might as well knock both out in those 30 minutes), it leaves my face feeling completely clean and refreshed. The hydration gel is perfect for skin that leans towards the dry end of the spectrum and is great for days where I am looking to just put on moisturizer and be done with my beauty routine.

3 Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

It’s worth noting, this post wasn’t sponsored in any way by boscia, I am truly just obsessed with these products at the moment! Also, if you want to try out all three of these products, but aren’t ready to splurge on them, you can get large sample sizes in this three piece set. That’s how I first tried them and I found they were definitely worth investing in.

Speaking of face masks, you can also check out this post from July where I talked about a few other face masks that I like to keep on hand.
