Coffee Table Books, Edition Two

Last week I promised a follow up to my first coffee table book round up, and here it is. This collection features iconic and inspiring women. Artists, socialites, designers—these women are style personified and will bring a bit of inspiration to your living room. Every time you sit down to flip through these pages, you’ll be struck by the classic glamour and confidence that carried these women throughout their lives and their careers.

Chanel and Her World Constantly breaking rules and creating new classics, Coco Chanel is one of the greatest style icons of all time.

Kahlo Both Frida Kahlo’s art and her persona are unmistakable. This epic biography was just released this spring, but is a bit more of an investment.

Audrey Style My first coffee table book was a Christmas gift years ago from my godfather and was a book on Audrey Hepburn’s style. It’s still in my living room.

Advanced Style: Older and Wiser Advanced Style is one of my favorite books and the second compilation of these fabulous images is a must.

C.Z. Guest: American Style Icon C.Z. Guest enjoyed a high society life and her joie de vivre and style make for gorgeous and indulgent imagery.

Edith Head Quirky, remarkably talented, and a personality for the ages, Edith Head’s career as a costume designer makes for a visually compelling story.

Elsie de Wolfe: The Birth of Modern Interior Decoration As the first to cultivate interior design as a profession, Elsie de Wolfe is a decor icon and quintessential to understanding how design became such a big part of our every day.

Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years I came across this book at a used book sale last spring and had to pick it up. It’s an in depth account of life at the White House and the clothes that defined those occasions.
