Apologies for an iPhone outfit post and almost all old items, but this mural was too good a backdrop not to snap a few pictures. I stumbled upon it while going to a barre class out in Del Ray, an adorable little area in Alexandria that has among its many restaurants a place called Cheesetique. With a name like that, you know you can’t go wrong. I typically spring for the pimento grilled cheese and the rosemary chips, but enough about cheese…
This tunic is one of my all time favorites. Elizabeth McKay makes the most gorgeous, perfectly detailed clothing and the tunics are no exception. They can be a bit of a splurge, but you’ll also find them on Rue La La on occasion. Not one to shy away from bold statement jewelry, I picked these turtle earrings up a few years ago and they’re no longer available. Luckily Kate Spade came to the rescue with a few pairs of similarly inspired animal earrings.

Below are links to items that are similar to all the ones I’m wearing in the photos above. I’ll have a new outfit post up next week, with photos actually taken on a real camera so stay tuned! I’m excited to get into summer clothes and show you some of my favorite looks.
