Fall into Swim

When it’s 95 degrees in September, there’s no reason not to head to the pool or beach. I’m planning on going paddle boarding this Sunday and then I’m visiting friends that live at the beach next weekend, so my swimsuit season is far from over. Yet, a bright printed bathing suit just doesn’t feel right post Labor Day. I don’t wear Lilly in the fall, so why would I wear a color swimsuit?

That’s why this is the perfect time of year to take advantage of the end of summer sales and pick up a swimsuit in a more neutral, fall friendly color palette. I love all of these solids from J.Crew and the silhouettes are just killing it this year. I can’t get enough of the scallops and high waisted bottoms. So retro and SO flattering.

Of course, there are always those prints that also look great into fall, so I’ve included a few of those in my round up below. I’m tempted to splurge on a Mara Hoffman one piece for my trip to Cabo in October, but I’m sure I’ll keep you up to date on my vacation packing list when the time comes. Until then, it’s fall neutrals and squeezing in as much time by the water as possible.

Also, if you need a fall friendly beach cover up, I’m absolutely loving this t-shirt dress—and it’s just $20!
