I just started a new job that involves a commute that’s almost three times as long as my previous commute (I’l acknowledge I was spoiled with a 20 minute commute for the past year). That means waking up earlier and eating breakfast on the go rather than having a leisurely meal of eggs and toast (okay, okay, if I was actually getting up earlier I’d still have time to do that. I’m working on the waking up part.)
Until I break away from the snooze button, however, I am reaching for Dannon® Oikos® Yogurt Drink. It’s an easy and mess free way to drink a protein rich greek yogurt while I’m sitting on the metro for 40 minutes, plus it has zero artificial sweeteners, which are on my absolutely not list.
What else has become an essential part of my morning commute? This Knomo backpack that fits a 15″ laptop (you’d be shocked how hard that is to find!) and doesn’t hurt my shoulder the way a heavy tote does. My Erin Condren planner where I keep my entire life (I’ll do another post on that soon). An SPF lip gloss because you don’t want to forget to protect your lips while also looking pulled together. And, obviously, a pair of sunglasses.
You can find Dannon® Oikos® Yogurt Drink at Walmart, sold both individually or in 4 packs. I sprung for the 4 pack so that it takes me through my 4 days of commuting each week (yes, I’m psyched to be able to work from my mini-home office or a coffee shop on Fridays!)
