Taking Care of Your Skin: PMD Beauty Products

Being as I’m always looking for the newest and most effective way to keep my skin looking fresh and youthful, I jumped at the chance to try out several of PMD Beauty‘s most popular products. For the past month, I’ve been using the PMD Microderm, PMD Kiss, and the new PMD Clean on a regular basis so that I could share my experience with y’all and let you know whether they’re worth the investment.

PMD Beauty makes skincare and beauty products that utilize the latest technology to bring skincare treatments into your own home. With their products, I’ve been able to add more intense skincare upkeep into my day to day routine. From the personal Microderm to the PMD Clean, their products allow the lotions, oils, and serums that you use on a daily basis to be their most effective.

I’ve always been intrigued by the idea of doing a professional microdermabrasion treatment, but also just not sure if it’s worth the expense. At roughly $200 a session, it’s not something I’m going to decide to do on a whim. The idea behind microdermabrasion is that you’re exfoliating the top layer of dead skin cells to reveal glowy, resurfaced, renewed skin. If you have fine lines or uneven skin tone, microdermabrasion is the treatment for you.

The PMD Microderm is a great way to try out microdermabrasion at home on your own terms. I’ve been using it once a week, sweeping the Microderm device in upward motions starting at my chin and working up to across my forehead. Between the PMD Microderm’s exfoliating disc and the vacuum suction that rids your skin of dead skin cells, it’s absolutely a deeper exfoliation than I’ve ever gotten from an at home scrub or mask. My skin is left feeling soft, smooth, and radiant. Plus, it allows my skin to absorb the products I put on it later so, so much better.

The PMD Clean was my first foray into electronic cleaners, and I’m hooked. Often, when I’m washing my face, I feel like I’m rubbing around the face wash and it’s not really doing anything. However, when I use the PMD Clean, it pulses on my skin so that my face not only feels awake and alive, but it feels like the cleanser is able to more effectively deep clean

I keep my PMD Clean in the shower and use it almost every morning in upward circular motions to wake up my skin and leave it feeling invigorated for the rest of the day. You can even use the PMD Clean on its rippled side to apply serums and allow them to soak into the skin

The PMD Kiss is the one product from PMD that I would say probably isn’t worth the cost. While I’ve absolutely been using it regularly, because, hey, why not, I’m not sure it’s actually doing anything beyond giving me another step to feel like I’m pampering myself before a big night out.

To use it, you first apply the Smart Lip Plumping Serum to your lips, then you press the suction tip on your lip for ten seconds. Typically, I split my lip into 4 sections, top and bottom, and hold on each for 10 seconds. My lips are definitely softer after using the PMD Kiss, but is it worth the cost? Probably not. Invest in the Microderm or the Clean instead.

If you’re a beauty junkie who’s always looking for the latest and most effective products, and you’re looking to invest in a deeper exfoliation and a deeper clean, then I can’t recommend the PMD Microderm and the PMD Clean enough. I’ve become a devotee of these two products and have been thrilled with the results I’ve seen in my skincare routine.

Thank you to PMD Beauty for gifting me these products for review! As always, thank you to the brands who make www.heatherbien.com possible, and thank you to you, my readers!
