If I Had To Pick One Shoe To Wear Every Day…

It would be these Day Glove flats from Everlane. Hands down. Since I got these shoes back in April, I’ve worn them several times a week. There’s no better shoe for traveling, walking around town, or wearing anytime that you want to tie an outfit together with a classic and simple shoe. Not to mention, they’re perhaps the most comfortable ballet flat I’ve ever worn.

To be honest, I had my apprehensions. The front looked like it might come up a bit too high. Were they too plain? Not enough support? No, no, and no. And there’s literally no breaking in process. I’m totally sold.

WHAT DO YOU WEAR THE DAY GLOVE FLATS WITH?

Short answer: everything. I love them paired with jeans and pants. They’re perfect with skirts and shorts. You seriously can’t go wrong with whatever you choose to wear them with. Dress them up or down. Throw them on for work or for running errands. Someone needs to stop me before I buy them in every color (blue’s next).

On this particular day I was shooting a few photos before leaving Frederick Inn Bed and Breakfast in Frederick, Maryland. (Side note: this was the cutest bed and breakfast I’ve ever stayed in.) It was a slightly cool spring morning and I wore them with these Paige jeans (now on sale!) that I picked up from Trunk Club, a gingham blazer from J.Crew a year or two ago, and a simple ivory tank. An easy, effortless outfit for looking professional-ish in warm weather

ALL THE DETAILS ON THE DAY GLOVE

You can get the Day Glove flats from Everlane for $110. They’re available in black, cream, light blue, rose, and white. I have the rose, but the light blue is definitely next on my radar, and who isn’t hot on white shoes this summer? The Italian leather is as soft as butter and as Everlane touts, “fits like a glove, all damn day.” Trust me, you need these shoes in your wardrobe ASAP.

This is post is not sponsored, I’m just THAT obsessed with Everlane’s Day Glove flats. They did gift me a pair to try out before the shoe was released this spring, but I was under zero obligation to ever share them with my readers. Thank you to all the brands who generously allow me to discover new products and bring them to you!
