I set this darling spring tablescape, featuring the most romantic green glassware, for a piece I wrote recently — and now I’m obsessed.
It’s funny because I’ve always said I’m not a green person. There’s no green in my home and little in my closet. But, as I was choosing glassware that would look perfectly springy alongside florals and sprigs of herbs, something about the green spoke to me. We have so much lush greenery right outside our city windows that I’ve basically had to accept the color into my decor. And, you know what, I’ve come to like it. It pops with our very black and white decor.
Vintage-Inspired Romantic Green Glassware
So, now I’m using this romantic green glassware every day for my iced coffee. It’s not just something to pull out when setting a fancy tablescape for entertaining. The 10.25 oz size is perfect for a cool drink on a warm day and the goblet, which is about the same size in terms of ounces, is great for just adding a little elegance because, why not?
This glassware has a vintage vibe to it, but without the delicate feel that has me scared to use it on a daily basis. Instead, it’s heavy duty glass that feels like it could take a fall or two — though I’m not testing it, so don’t hold me to that. The green is a perfectly calming hue that could read as a neutral depending on your dishware. With all of our white, black, and grey, it’s a subtle addition; one I’ll be using all summer long.
