I love to find little things that I can upgrade around my home for just a few dollars, yet they make a big impact. They may be unassuming — the type of thing you normally wouldn’t think twice about. But, when it’s something you use every day, trust me, you will notice when you have something nicer.
$15 Upgrade for the Kitchen
These amber glass bottles are $14.99 for a set of two, and they’re one of those items that makes life feel more elevated. I used to just use my dish soap in the plastic bottle it came in. That was fine. I never thought much about it. But, a few years ago, I stayed at an Airbnb with friends where the owner had upgraded the most darling things all throughout the house. One of those things was her dish soap bottles.
She had a similar amber glass bottle sitting by the sink and I took note of how nice it felt and how pretty it look each time I used it.
When I got back home, I promptly found similar bottles online and ordered them for the river. I upgraded our dish soap in DC when we renovated our kitchen.
These are the kinds of things that, sure, you could go without. But, for just $15, it’s a small change that upgrades a space.
