It’s been a while since I’ve done a Pinterest Recipe of the Week. Apparently summer simply isn’t conducive to cooking, baking, and just generally being home at all. But, now that it’s fall (or is it?), I’m back in the swing of being domestic on occasion.
I’ve seen one minute microwave desserts before, but had never actually given one a try. These One Minute Nestle Crunch Cakes are my first attempt at whipping up something delicious that can be made in literally a matter of minutes. For someone who isn’t a huge baker (exact measurements? no, thank you), these are a great way to get my chocolate and baked goods fix with minimal effort.
One Minute Nestle Crunch Cakes
3 fun size Nestle Crunch Bars or 1 full size
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
Generous drizzle of chocolate syrup
Sprinkle of confectioner’s sugar
Chop Nestle Crunch Bars into rough pieces. Beat butter and sugar until blended. Add egg and mix together. Combine with flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold in Nestle Crunch pieces.
Split the batter between two ramekins. Generously drizzle chocolate syrup into the middle of each ramekin. Microwave each for 1 minute. Sprinkle confectioner’s sugar on top. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
