Adding to the list of brands I’ve become obsessed with post TBSCon in August is Cosmedix. I like to have some facts backing up my skincare products, so while I may not understand the science behind these, I was immediately intrigued by the focus on using technology to create skincare products that are ahead of the game. An added bonus, I love the clean, sleek aesthetic of the packaging!
The first product I tried was their Peptide Rich Defense Cream which has an SPF of 50. I’m always wary of new sunscreens because my skin is sensitive and can react poorly to certain SPF products. This one, however, has become my go to. Layered over the Affirm Antioxidant Serum, which I use both morning and evening, it’s the perfect two step combo. The Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser is a great every day cleanser to keep skin looking refreshed and clear, and once a week, usually on one of those nights when I’m doing all my weekly primping rituals. I’ll pull out the Purity Detox Scrub.
