I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of faux leather pants to try out this trend and knew this pair (they’re an extra 30% off right now!) with leather on the front, ponte knit on the back was the winner. I’ve already worn them three times in the past week—to work, to dinner with friends, and just a day of hanging out. They’re so comfortable thanks to the knit waistband and knit on the back, yet they still have a bit of the edginess I was hoping for (I can’t believe I just said that).
Worn with a thin black turtleneck, a gray wrap that I wear with everything and way too often, and a black Kendra Scott necklace, and this was a cozy but chic outfit for an afternoon spent checking out all the new shops and creative spaces over in the Shay and the Atlantic Plumbing Building.
Also, it seems that every time I’ve chopped my hair since May, it’s gotten progressively shorter and shorter. Now that it takes me approximately 3 minutes to blow dry my hair, I don’t even want to think about the time I wasted blow drying and then curling my hair for 25+ minutes every time I wanted it look done… the lessons we learn as we get older, I suppose.
