A Twist on an Old Favorite

Tis the season of lots and lots of eating! Fall and the holidays bring so many opportunities for gathering friends and family for every occasion from football games to friendsgiving. One of my go to recipes to bring along is buffalo chicken dip, but this year I decided to put a new spin on the classic.

Using Great Midwest® Cheddar and Jack Cheese, an artisan cheese out of Wisconsin made with hormone free milk, I made a Buffalo Chicken Wreath that’s a festive twist on buffalo chicken dip. Plus, you can’t beat anything that involves buttery crescent rolls.

BUFFALO CHICKEN WREATH

Make this delicious buffalo chicken recipe immediately before serving — you’ll want it hot!

THE INGREDIENTS

4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup buffalo hot sauce
2 1/2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
1 cup Great Midwest Mild Cheddar Cheese
2 cans crescent roll dough
1/2 cup ranch dressing for serving

THE STEPS

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together cream cheese, hot sauce, chicken, and cheese.
Separate the crescents from the dough. Arrange them on a lightly greased cookie sheet in a sunburst pattern with short sides in.
Fill inner circle of ring with chicken mixture and cover with long end of crescent dough.
Bake for 20-25 minutes and let sit for 5 minutes before serving with a ramekin of ranch strategically placed in the middle of the wreath. Enjoy!

Thank you to Great Midwest® Cheddar and Jack Cheese for sponsoring this post! You can’t beat an outside the box take on a crowd pleasing favorite this time of year!
