  1. Bring raspberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice to a boil over medium-high heat. Turn down heat and let simmer until sugar dissolves. Allow the mixture to steep for up to an hour. Using a fine sieve or cheesecloth, drain the syrup into containers. Press it to get all syrup out, leaving behind the fruit.
