How haven’t I written a Tuckernuck bow hat review yet?! I wear this thing near daily in the spring and summer and it’s, by far, my most packed item when I travel. But, alas, here we are, just now singing the praises of this incredibly versatile (and surprisingly affordable!) item.
A Testament to How Often I Wear this Tuckernuck Hat
First, let’s take a walk down memory lane. I wear this hat probably more often than any other item. Here, I wrote about it as one of my top three summer items to wear. That was in 2018 when I only owned the black one. It looked fabulous in this Few Moda review post. And let’s not forget about when it showed up in all but one of my photos from how I packed for 10 days in Europe.
It goes with everything, seriously. It’s not too floppy, it’s not too small. I feel like it’s not dressy or too casual. It’s literally just perfect (okay, could the review stop here?).
But let’s continue…

Packable Tuckernuck Bow Hat Review
As I mentioned earlier, I first bought this packable Tuckernuck bow hat in black, assuming that would go with everything but, last year, I decided to spring for the cream, too. Who knows, I might add navy this year. At $65, why not?
It packs beautifully, just as the name would indicate, though I’d recommend keeping a straightening iron around for making sure the bow stays perfectly crisp. Inside, there’s a small piece that can tighten or loosen the hat and, I think I have a fairly large head, and it seems to fit me perfectly.
While some hats flop all over the place, this one has more structure. It’s a tailored look that’s appropriate for city or beach. The look isn’t too dressy or too casual, it’s right there somewhere in the middle and goes with absolutely everything. 10/10 recommend.
